Our boating profile

Larry
I have been involved in boating since I was a small boy. My wife Anne and I met while water skiing, have owned several ski boats, and along with our daughter Elizabeth are avid skiers to this day. When we moved to Spring Lake, MI, from Manhattan Beach, CA, and gained direct access to the Great Lakes, the idea of a larger liveaboard cruiser became very attractive. This blog will serve to keep our family and friends up to date with the wonderful adventures and travels on our American Tug 34 named "Great Laker." This blog starts on Sunday April 22, 2012 when Great Laker came out of winter storage. Our checkout trip was in July 2012, and the Great Loop trip started in September 2012.
